KOLKATA: Four players ranked in the top 10 were eliminated in the first round of the match-play format of the Goodricke Eastern India amateur golf tournament at the RCGC here on Friday. Raja Sardar, ranked 31st, sent out second-seeded Simarjeet Singh 3-up, while third-seeded Saurav Bahuguna fell to 30th-ranked Samresh Sardar 3 & 2. In the other upsets, 25th-ranked Karan Vasudeva ousted eighth-seeded Aditya Khaitan 5 & 4, while 24th-seeded Vikram Rana sent ninth-seeded Manav Das packing.
