Former lecturer mourned

Members of the Andhra Loyola College Retired Teachers’ Welfare Association, Vijayawada, on Friday mourned Anne Venkata Subbarao, known as senior Subbarao, a former lecturer in chemistry at ALC, Vijayawada.

Mr. Subbarao had joined the college in the year of its inception and had distinguished himself as one of the best teachers in chemistry, especially physical chemistry for degree students. He was also the first secretary of the Andhra Loyola College Vijayawada Staff Association and had played a crucial role in implementation of the UGC scales to the teaching staff of the college.
