The practical difficulties relating to levy and administration of tax faced by taxpayers would receive due consideration and remedial measures would be taken where possible, he said. K.A. Soman, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial taxes, Mattancherry, and Julius Smith, Deputy Commissioner (Intelligence), were present. R. Mohandas, president of the chamber; Anilkumar N. Prabhu, vice-president; and taxation committee chairman N. Radhakrishnan spoke.
