BANGALORE: The Lokayukta police found more property related to 13 officials who allegedly possess assets disproportionate to their known sources income. The Lokayukta found the Motor Vehicle inspector of Koppal Yoga Ramesh owned a complex in Vijayanagar. They recovered documents related to two sites in Vijayanagar and Rajarajeshwarinagar. A document related to 30 acres of agricultural land at Kakkeri village in Mandya district was also recovered. Mr. Ramesh and four other transport officials were among the 13 persons whose offices and residences were raided by the Lokayukta police on Wednesday. All the officials, including an IAS officer, have been booked for offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Additional Director-General of Police (Lokayukta) R.K. Datta said the Lokayukta officers found a total of Rs. 48 lakh from the bank accounts of IAS officer V. Chandrashekar and his family members. They were questioning Motor Vehicle inspector D.C. Manje Gowda about the property in his possession. Several bank lockers of the other officials were also opened, he said.
