Voters’ list to be published before January 10

’Davangere Habba’ from January 3 to 6

DAVANGERE: The district administration is busy with preparing the list of final electorate, which is to be published before January 10.

According to Deputy Commissioner M.B. Dyaberi, the deletions and additions to voters’ list in the district are going on based on the petitions from the people.

While booth-level officers have been appointed, two nodal officers are appointed to supervise the other 10 nodal officers. One superintendent is appointed for every three nodal officers to ensure that the final list will be completed on time.

The district administration is also busy with the preparation to celebrate the "Davangere Habba" from January 3 to 6. The Governor has been invited to inaugurate the festival.

The main attractions of the festival include Bihu dance by a troupe from Assam and Janapada dance by C. Ashwath along with 200 artistes.
