Villagers seek jobs

KORAPUT: Adivasi Jana Manch of Koraput district has alleged that NREGA has failed to offer sufficient job for the poor people in remote villages . At a meeting organised on Saturday at Paika Phulabeda panchayat in Dasamantpur block, Damai Gadaba, sarpanch of Paika Phulabeda panchayat, highlighted the needs of rural villages in the district especially in Damantpur block. The members expressed their observations and experiences in their villages and put forth their demands to ensure proper implementation of NREGA including timely payment for their work under the scheme .
