BANGALORE: General Insurance employees will go on a one-day all India strike on December 24 protesting against what they term the anti-people policies of the New India management.

The GIC Employees’ Union said it was against the anti-institutional, anti-customer and anti-employee attitude of the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of New India Assurance, Bimalendu Chakrabarti. — Staff Reporter
