President’s award for IAS officer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: S.Sukumaran, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service, has been awarded the Census Silver Medal by the President for the outstanding zeal shown by him and the high quality of service rendered by him for the Census of India – 2001. He was then the District Collector of Pathanamthitta. He is now the Director of the Kerala State Nirmithi Kendra and the Scheduled Castes Development Department. — Special Correspondent
