Staff Reporter

VISAKHAPTNAM: India Post has brought out greeting cards at an affordable price to cater to the needs of quality minded but financially-conscious customers. Twelve attractive and multi-coloured greeting cards have been released to suit the festive occasions of the Christmas, New Year 2008 and Sankranti.

The greeting cards are available in all the post offices in the districts of East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam from December 17.

Customers can either purchase the greeting cards at the post offices or they can be ordered.

The greeting cards are sold for Rs.8 per card at the post office counter and Rs.8.50 if the cards have to be delivered at their doorstep.

The India Post has made all arrangements for quick sorting, transmission and delivery of greeting mail in time. Separate letter boxes and cartons will be provided at the post offices for fast clearing of greetings mail.
