BJP workers celebrate Gujarat victory

GULBARGA: Bhartiya Janata Party workers in Gulbarga who came out on the streets in large numbers distributing sweets and bursting crackers to celebrate the party’s victory in the Gujarat Assembly elections.

The BJP workers, dancing the tunes of popular numbers, shouted slogans praising their leaders including L.K. Advani, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Narendra Modi and others.

They converged at the circle opposite to the Chowk police station and celebrated the victory.

Sweets distributed

In Bidar, led by the former MLA Rajendra Varma, activists of the district committee of the BJP on Sunday celebrated the party’s victory by bursting crackers and distributing sweets to the public.

They also took out a procession raising slogans in favour of the party and marched with party flags.

In Hassan, BJP activists burst crackers in the streets and distributed sweets.

Navile Annappa, district unit president of the BJP described the victory as hat-trick by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
