BANGALORE: The former Minister and backward classes leader H. Vishwanath has called upon the Kuruba community to provide leadership to other backward communities and work at bringing about an overall development of all backward communities in the State.
He was speaking at a function organised by the Karnataka Pradesh Kurubara Sangha to install the new office-bearers of the sangha. Others who spoke on the occasion included the former ministers K.S. Eshwarappa and H.M. Revanna.The new office-bearers of the sangha took charge. They included Raghunath Rao Malkapure (president), K.B. Shantappa (executive president) and K.M. Ramachandrappa (general secretary). — Special Correspondent
