BJP to rope in Modi for poll campaign

BANGALORE: Enthused by party leader Narendra Modi’s victory in Gujarat Assembly elections, the Karnataka unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to rope him for campaigning in the ensuing elections to the State Assembly. A senior party functionary told The Hindu that Mr. Modi would undertake party’s campaign specifically in certain constituencies, including Bangalore South parliamentary constituency and some constituencies in the coastal belt. — Special Correspondent
