Warne, Buchanan may work together

Melbourne: The frosty relationship between Shane Warne and John Buchanan notwithstanding, the duo may have to work together as Cricket Australia is planning to appoint them as mentors.

“Looking back over the past 10 years, you could argue that Buchanan has been the most successful coach in the game at any level,” Cricket Australia (CA) spokesman Peter Young told the Daily Telegraph.

“And it’s the same with Shane Warne in terms of bowlers.

“So the thought of having them both work for us is salivating,” he added. — PTI
