Murugan CC posts win
HARIPAD: Murugan Cricket Club (Thiruvananthapuram) crushed TCA (Kayamkulam) by 110 runs in the 11th K.K. Sreenivasan memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the GBHS ground here on Sunday.
In another match, host Haripad Young Boys CC overcame Ruby CC (Kollam) by two wickets. Muthoot ECC (Ernakulam) won the first all-Kerala pro-6 (six-a-side) cricket tournament by defeating TCA (Kayamkulam) by 60 runs in the final.
The scores: Murugan CC (Thiruvananthapuram) 229 for four in 22 overs (Mahesh 83, Vinod 52) bt Sony Ericsson TCA (Kayamkulam) 119 in 19 overs.
Ruby CC (Kollam) 195 for nine in 25 overs (Sarun 59, Siby 51) lost to HYCC 196 for eight in 24.4 overs (Rahul Raj 68).
