Double for Ernakulam

KOZHIKODE: Ernakulam won both the men’s and women’s titles in the State senior softball championship at the St. Joseph’s College Ground, Devagiri, here on Sunday.

The results: Men (final): Ernakulam bt Thiruvananthapuram 11-10. Semifinals: Ernakulam bt Kannur 4-3; Thiruvananthpauram bt Alappuzha 3-0. Women (final): Ernakulram bt Thiruvananthapuram 14-3. Semifinals: Ernakulam bt Thrissur 6-3; Thiruvananthapuram bt Kannur 20-5.
