Permission sought for ‘padhayatra’
CHENNAI: Kumari Ananthan, former president of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, on Saturday met V. Arunkumar, AICC representative in-charge of Tamil Nadu, and submitted a memorandum seeking permission for a ‘padhayatra’ to fulfil the dream of great patriot Subramania Siva.
In a press release here on Sunday, he said the main objective of the 8th ‘padhayatra’ was to unite hearts through secularism, India by linking the rivers and construct a Bharat Matha temple. — Special Correspondent
