Celebration time: BJP workers celebrating the party’s victory in Gujarat Assembly elections in Bhopal on Sunday. BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday went into the celebration mode and a large number of party workers took out a procession in the State capital to rejoice their party’s victory in Gujarat. The State BJP President, Narendra Singh Tomar and State general Secretary in charge party affairs, Makhan Singh issued a statement asserting that Narendra Modi’s success and their party’s fourth successive victory in Gujarat comes as people’s vote in support of BJP’s development model and ideology. Mr. Tomar said here on Sunday that the Gujarat results clearly show which way the wind would blow during the coming Lok Sabha election. The National Democratic Alliance would form the next Government at the Centre, he went on to emphasise. The newly appointed BJP Vice President, Vikram Verma said in a statement that the Gujarat voters have given a “befitting reply to those who were trying to malign BJP’s image.” BJP’s return to power in Gujarat has exposed the Congress party and so-called secular brigade”, he pointed out.
