Land sought

BANGALORE: The Institute of Indian Foundrymen has urged the Government to allot land on the outskirts of the city to set up a foundry park. Institute president V. Ramaswamy submitted a memorandum in this regard to Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Chairman H.C. Sharathchandra on Saturday at the 46th Southern Region Formation Day celebrations. He urged Mr. Sharathchandra to get land allotted so that foundries could function without causing pollution in the city limits. – Staff Reporter
