BANGALORE: On the occasion of National Consumers’ Day on Monday, an exhibition to spread awareness about consumer rights will be held by various government departments, including the legal metrology cell of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, the BMTC and the KSRTC. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry will stage plays and folk dance performances on consumer rights. Essay-writing, debate and drawing competitions will be organised for schoolchildren. The event will be inaugurated by Legislative Council Chairman B.K. Chandrashekar at Yavanika at 11 a.m. – Staff Reporter
