Office-bearers elected

Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board retired officials’ association held its Madurai district meeting here on Wednesday. A resolution was passed to provide the pending Dearness Allowance of six per cent to the pensioners of the board.

In the elections to the district administration committee, L. Govindarajan was elected district president, N. Ramachandran vice-president, R. Srinivasan treasurer and V. Subbiahan secretary, said a press release. —Staff Reporter
