MANGALORE:Puttige Math Seer Sri Sugunendra Theertha, whose ascension to the paryaya peetha of Udupi Srikrishna Math has kicked up a controversy, will be felicitated here on Wednesday. It will be held at T.V. Ramana Pai Convention Centre at 4 p.m. A felicitation committee has been constituted under S. Ganesh Rao, founder president of Karavali group of colleges. Mr. Rao is the honorary president, Sharavu Sri Raghavendra Shastri is the president and Ramesh Rao of Hotel Woodlands is the working president. The seer will visit different temples in the city starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. He will perform puja to the Puttige Math deity at Gokul Kalayan Mantap in Ashoknagar in Urva at 12.30 p.m.
