Driver found strangled in truck

New Delhi: A driver was on Sunday found strangled in his truck in a West Delhi locality with police suspecting the involvement of his helper, who was employed a fortnight ago.

Bola Yadav, hailing from Farukabad of Uttar Pradesh, did not go to his house in Moti Nagar after partying with his friend on Saturday night and had slept in the truck which he parked near his rented accommodation, police said.

It was on Sunday morning that the murder came to light after Yadav’s uncle Sunil went to wake him up.

When Yadav did not respond to Sunil, he alerted people who informed the police.
