3 held for stabbing CBI inspector

New Delhi: Three young men were arrested in the Capital on Sunday for allegedly stabbing a CBI Inspector during a snatching incident three days ago.

Mohan Lal, the CBI official, was going to Nizamuddin Railway Station when the youth allegedly tried to snatch a bag from him on December 20, police said.

During the snatching attempt, the youth identified as Toufiq (23), Akhthar Ali (21) and Tanvir (21) allegedly stabbed the officer after he tried to attract the attention of people.

He was rushed to AIIMS where doctors said he was out of danger.
