Protection sought

Bangalore: The Bangalore Tamil Sangam has requested the police to provide security to churches conducting prayers in languages other than Kannada. In a memorandum submitted to Governor Rameshwar Thakur, the sangam claimed that Kannada Prakash, president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, Bapujinagar Block, had created disturbances in the name of caste, religion and language. The sangam has also submitted a memorandum to the Governor seeking protection.
