750 candidates net job at employment fair

45,000 participants vied for jobs

NEW DELHI: Over 750 candidates netted a job on the final day of a two-day employment fair organised by naukri.com at Pragati Maidan here on Sunday. The fair saw a total of over 45,000 participants vying for jobs.

Speaking on the occasion, Info Edge Chief Operations Officer Hitesh Oberoi said: “Naukri.com played Santa Claus to thousands of job-seekers in Delhi and enabled them to fulfil their aspirations. It is our endeavour to continue to provide innovative platforms to employment seekers to realise their potential.”

The fair offered diverse opportunities and an assortment of jobs ranging from sales and product managers, design and software engineers, human resources managers, systems analysts, visual merchandisers and chartered accountants. Over 30 companies participated in the fair.

Several participants came all the way from Jammu, Ludhiana and other parts of North India to seek employment opportunities.
