Ex-MP shot dead

Itanagar: The former Congress MP, Wangcha Rajkumar, was on Sunday shot dead by an unknown assailant at Deomali in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The assailant fired at Mr. Rajkumar from close range at a local club. He was immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre, where he was declared as brought dead.

Hewas elected from the Arunachal West parliamentary constituency in 1996.
