Music and dance for Vishranti

Bangalore: In keeping with the spirit of the season, Rudram, an evening of music and dance, will held in aid of Vishranti, the home for senior citizens on December 28at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall at 6 p.m.

What lies in store is a performance by Vikram Hazra, an India-based accomplished guitarist, flautist and bhajan singer, whose music has cut across barriers of race and language and has moved many a soul.

Mireille, Lisanne and Stephanie, musicians from The Netherlands, will display their musical odyssey.

There will also be a special Bharatanatyam performance by guru C.V. Chandrasekar from Chennai.

Vishranti is a multi-faceted home for senior citizens that provides not only physical as well as emotional shelter but also education and employment.

This programme has been supported by the Academy of Music and Waye.
