Nalco officers seek their due

Staff Reporter

BHUBANESWAR: Three officers’ associations of the public sector National Aluminum Company (Nalco) have come together to form a federation for putting pressure on the management to share 5 per cent distributable profit among employees. The associations of Smelter and Power (S&P) Complex at Angul, the Mining and Refinery unit at Damanjodi and the corporate office here constituted the Confederation of Nalco Officers’ Association (CNOA) to guard their interests. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, S.N. Sahoo of S&P said: “Nalco is steadily making profit since its inception. This is the result of the dedication, hard work and sincerity of employees. But, the officers of Nalco have been deprived of their rights.”
