Sharana Mela to be held next month

BANGALORE: Sharana Mela, a five-day religious event, will be held at Kudalasangama in Bagalkot district from January 11.

The head of the Basava Dharma Peetha, Mathe Mahadevi, who is the working president of the Sharana Mela Utsava Samiti, told presspersons here on Monday that more than four lakh devotees from Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu were expected to participate in the event.
