Tributes paid to Madan Mohan Malviya

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Assembly on Monday paid glowing tributes to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the veteran freedom fighter and founder of Banaras Hindu University, on his 147th birth anniversary.

Offering flowers at his statue at Old Secretariat, Delhi Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Prem Singh said Pandit Malviya was an institution in himself and a great scholar and educationist who fought the British all his life.
