NITK global alumni meet

Bangalore: The National Institute of Technology- Karnataka (NITK), Suratkal, is organising its global alumni convention from December 29 to 30.

The event is held once in three years and is conducted by the NITK Suratkal Alumni Association.

The theme of the two-day event is “Role of alumni in institution building”.

More than 500 delegates from all around the world will participate with their families in it.

The convention will be inaugurated by A.R. Upadhya, Director, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore.

M.D. Mallya, Chairman and Managing Director, Bank of Maharashtra; Ashok Kheny, Managing Director of Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises; and Sandeep Sancheti, Director of NITK, will be the guests of honour.

This is the third global convention being organised by this association.

“It is an opportunity for the NITK alumni to interact among themselves and with their teachers and build a long lasting bong with the institute,” said Yajnanarayana Kammaje, president of the alumni association, Bangalore.
