Plan to address problems of educational institutions in A.P.

KHAMMAM: NSUI president of Andhra Pradesh Ch. Vamsichand Reddy and the All India secretary of the organisation Ranju Ramavath said here on Monday that the Rajiv Vidyarthi Pragathi Yatra was launched in the State to give a new direction with a decisive role for the student organisation.
Addressing a news conference here, they said that the state of the educational institutions in all the districts would be taken stock. They said the Congress government in the State had given due importance to education by enhancing allocations substantially.
The government had allotted Rs. 232 crore for higher education during 2007-08 as against Rs. 93 crore in 2003.
