“Factors behind victory will work in other States”

CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has said the factors that contributed to the BJP’s “impressive victory” in Gujarat will work in other States going to the polls in 2008 and also in the next Lok Sabha election.

In a statement here on Monday, he said the BJP’s victory under the leadership of Narendra Modi was the “result of a potent combination of his first-rate development record, unalloyed Hindutva and unreticent anti-Sonia exposure.”
