Ganesh scalps five

Chennai: Ganesh Lingam’s five for 27 went in vain as Abdul Jabbar CA defeated E. Marcus CA by 25 runs in the Prahlad under-12 tournament here recently.

The scores: Abdul Jabbar CA 95 in 29.4 overs (S. Vigneswaran 44, Ganesh Lingam five for 27) bt E. Marcus CA 70 in 29.4 overs (Mithrukanth three for 17); VBCA 100 for seven in 30 overs (G. Vignesh 25) lost to Prahlad ‘A’ 101 for no loss in 22.1 overs (K. Mukunth 50 n.o., S. Vignesh 25 n.o.).
