PUDUCHERRY: The Sahitya Akademy, J. Krishnamurthi Foundation, Munnetra Pathipagam, Kizhaku Pathipagam and TickSoft Madurai were chosen as best stalls at the 11th National Book Fair, that concludes on December 26th. Assembly Speaker R. Radhakrishnan, who on Tuesday distributed prizes to representatives of the stalls, said the Government must encourage and support organisers of book exhibitions, as end beneficiaries were ultimately readers. The exhibition, on at the Vel Sokkanathan Thirumana Nilayam, is being organised by the Puducherry Co-operative Book Society.
