SIHC meet in SKU from Jan. 19

ANANTAPUR: The 28th session of South Indian History Congress will be held on the campus of Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU) here from January 19 to 21.

Delegates from all the South Indian States are expected participate in the meet.

Local secretary of the SIHC and Head of the Department of History in the university K. Mallikarjuna Reddy said on Tuesday that members of the SIHC, who intended to participate in the proceedings, could register their names up to December 31 to enable the organising committee to make necessary arrangements.

The delegates can register their names by sending the delegate fee in the form of demand draft or money order drawn in favour of “Local secretary, SIHC” payable at SKU branch of Andhra Bank here. The delegate fee for outstation participants is Rs. 450 and Rs. 350, the latter for students and scholars.
