PUDUCHERRY: In separate incidents, two youths were drowned in the river on the outskirts of Puducherry while taking bath on Monday evening. Police said Nagarajan (19), a resident of Jeevanthapuram at Lawspet was drowned in the Sanakraparani river at Pilliarkuppam while taking bath along with his friends. In another incident, 22-year-old Bilal Ahammed from Villupuram was drowned near the Sitheri Bridge while he was taking bath, police said. — Staff Reporter
