Drama fete from today

Thiruvananthapuram: The National Drama Festival being organised by the Information and Public Relations Department, in association with the Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademi, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan at the Tagore Theatre here on Wednesday. Law Minister M. Vijayakumar will preside over the function. Amol Palekar, actor and director, will be the chief guest. Leading theatre groups of the country will stage eight plays till January 1. The programme will begin at 6.30 p.m. on all days.
