Thiruvananthapuram
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The three-day Thiruvananthapuram district conference of the CPI(M) would begin here on Wednesday. Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan would inaugurate the conference, which would be attended by senior leaders of the party including CPI(M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan. The conference would be attended by 295 delegates representing the 25,842 party members in the district, besides 41 members of the outgoing district committee. The conference would conclude on Friday with a rally. — Special Correspondent
