Procession taken out

Correspondent

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Nearly 100 members of the Backward Classes Okkuta and supporters of the former Deputy Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, took out a procession here on Tuesday condemning the Akhila Bharatha Veerashaiva Mahasabha’s stand in organising a protest march against Mr. Siddaramaiah.

The procession started from the Chamarajeshwaraswamy Temple to Bhuvaneshwari Circle where the protestors staged a demonstration alleging that the former Minister, M. Mahadev, had launched an indirect verbal attack on Mr. Siddaramaiah at the Youth Congress convention in Mysore.

They alleged that although the matter had been solved at the convention, the members of the mahasabha are unnecessarily staging the demonstration. They blocked National Highway 209 disrupting traffic for about 15 minutes.
