Innovation for India Awards

Bangalore: Marico Innovation Foundation, with its mission “to fuel innovation in India” and to help the country “leapfrog into the centre stage of global business leadership,” institutionalised its first “Innovation for India Awards” last year.
Now, it is time for the second Innovation for India Awards, which will be held on March 19, 2008, in Mumbai. The awards intend to acknowledge and reward projects in the field of business and social innovation. The awards nomination process has begun, and applications will be invited till January 5, 2008. Any Indian company, social organisation, government body or individual who has successfully conceptualised and nurtured a brilliant idea, made it work and brought it to the market will be eligible to participate.
