Liquor distilleries destroyed

BERHAMPUR: Some 20 illicit liquor distilleries operating in villages under the Jarada police station limits in Ganjam district and Ichapur police station limits in Andhra Pradesh on the Andhra-Orissa border were destroyed during joint raids by excise officials of Orissa and Andhra.

These illicit distilleries were in tribal villages like Champapur, Devtuli, Gangapur. Three persons of Champapur village were arrested and forwarded to Parlakhemundi court.
