Yuva Nirman celebrates valedictory function

CHITTOOR: The valedictory function of trained rural unemployed youth under Yuva Nirman programme was held here on Tuesday on the premises of Srinivasa Institute of Technology and Management.

Chairman of the institute, MP Adi Kesavulu said that Yuva Niraman under the joint aegis of NTR Memorial Trust and Srinivasa Trust conducts three months courses in computer education, spoken English and communication skills to make the rural youth eligible for simple jobs in companies. Under this scheme, 60 youth belonging five mandals were given training of which 40 persons secured appointment in ICICI Chittoor, Reliance Bangalore, Sony World, Chennai, Uma Resorts, Vijayawada, Motorola, Chennai, APSRTC Chittoor, Snow Feast, Chittoor, Food & Inns, Paluru, and Naga Young Shoe Company, Ranipeta.

He appealed to other engineering colleges in the State to start this programme too.
