Two killed as truck overturns

VIZIANAGARAM: Two persons -- K. Pandari and S. Bodiyya -- were killed and three others, including the driver of a truck, injured when the vehicle laden with empty cylinders overturned near Konavalasa on the Salur-Sunki ghat road in Pachipenta police station limits on Tuesday, according to L. Bhaskara Rao, Pachipenta Sub-Inspector.

The truck was on its way from Jeypore in Orissa to Kovvur. They boarded the truck at Rallagedda village.

The injured persons were taken to the district headquarters hospital.
