Medical and health employees’ plea

HYDERABAD: The United Medical and Health Employees’ Union has demanded revision of the selection guidelines for the appointment of staff nurses, as those issued vide G.O. 258 on July 26 would harm the interest of hundreds of candidates. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, M. Rangayya, president, and other leaders of the union said the candidates would suffer because of the separate allotment of 20 weightage marks for BSc nursing and general nursing categories. –Special Correspondent
