TN 233 for six

HYDERABAD: Tamil Nadu kept its hopes alive of grabbing the vital first innings lead scoring 233 for six in reply to Bengal’s 287 on the second day of the all-India Cooch Behar Trophy under-19 cricket tournament at the ECIL grounds here on Tuesday.

The scores: Karnataka 154 vs. Mumbai 225 for nine in 90 overs (Rohan 63, Nikhil Sr. 57, Dhaval 31 batting, Mithun three for 63, Sunil Raju three for 36).

Bengal 287 vs. Tamil Nadu 233 for six in 94 overs (N. Suraj 44, Sushil 72 batting, Kaushik Gandhi 35 batting, Ranjith K.R. Prasad three for 60).
