Girl knocked down by motorcyclist

NEW DELHI: An 11-year-old girl was fatally knocked down by a motorcyclist at Khajoori Khas here on Monday.

Rubina and her brother Saleem were crossing the road around 3 p.m. when a speeding motorcycle hit her from behind. The girl fell on the road and sustained serious head injuries. She was declared brought dead at Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. The motorcyclist, Titu, 22, has been arrested.

The victim’s father is a daily-wage labourer.
