BANGALORE: The Federation of University and College Teachers Association in Karnataka (FUCTAK) and the State Principals’ Association and Bangalore University College Teachers’ Association (BUCTA) will jointly organise a protest meeting against the action of the Department of the Collegiate Education for stopping salary grants to 26 aided colleges with less than “B” grade NAAC accreditation. The meeting will take place on December 29 at Central College Campus at 10 a.m. and a dharna will be held at Mahatma Gandhi statute on Mahatma Gandhi Road on the same day at 2 p.m.
