Charity boxes at airports

The second phase of the charity box project of ‘Keraleeyam’ was inaugurated by the former Karnataka minister J. Alexander at the Thiruvananthapuram international airport on Wednesday.

As part of the second phase of the project, charity boxes are being installed at international airports. In the first phase the boxes were installed at domestic terminals at airports. The money received in these charity boxes would be used for treatin g HIV positive children.

Airport director Nagarajan, deputy general manager Ashok Srivastava and secretary general of Keraleeyam N. R. Harikumar were present on the occasion. According to a press note issued here a number of organisations have expressed willingness to install the charity boxes on their premises.
