Hostel inmate dies

VIZIANAGARAM: M. Mahalakshmi (14), a student of class-V and an inmate in Disabled Welfare Hostel here, died while being shifted to district headquarter hospital on Wednesday. According to official sources, the dumb girl, a native of Gollapalli in Bobbili mandal, began vomiting on Tuesday night. Hostel attendant Sujata took the girl to a private medical practitioner, who referred her to the government hospital where the doctors pronounced her brought dead. Tehsildar Ch. Ramana Murty conducted an inquest. The I Town police registered a case. —Correspondent
